The struggle
Imagine being hours away from in town, at 3 in the morning the old mustang broke down. So, you had to help push the car with the strength you barely had to go get gas. Imagine going up to the clerk while you shiver then ask - ''Can i put a $1 on pump 6 ?'' then she repeats it in-front of everyone.
Imagine being that exotic dancer being evicted because she couldn't bring home enough money to pay the bills and feed her children so, dancing couldn't really help them survive. Take time to close your eyes and pretend and imagine yourself being that homeless man walking his way up to a shelter so he could have a place to lay his head. Could you imagine being that brave person walking out of a small class, yet you point and laugh not caring how they felt, knowing that it kills them deep inside.
Imagine being me, the one who was premature with the small heart inside of me, the methadone in my system kept contemplating deep thoughts inside of me. The struggle.. The struggles that we attain to that for stall our actions then we sometimes blame our loved ones for the mistakes we've made. The struggle of hearing about someone you knew had died the tears that had fallen from their loved ones eyes. The outrageous pain coming from deep within side their blood shot red eyes from the no sleep they've had the uncontrolled steady heartbeat that eventually went bad. The wandering feet of confusion through the nights, while praying on your knees after seeing your loved ones fight, its crazy. So, you begin to have to hustle on your own because the struggle to keep your car note paid, the raid i seen with my own two eyes had deceased then decreased with my memories. No food on the table as you kneel down for hunger because the struggle. The $2.50 dollar school pizza was too high for your range because you have to face each day that the bully keep taking your lunch money and soon lied on your name. The witty acting people with such stupidity I hope that one day that infinity that this world will someday change.
We are all coming from the bottom in the city of TOLEDO, the city we had to wear dirty shoes once upon a time THUGLEDO, the dollars we were all happy to find DRUGLEDO.
the story of my struggle, our struggle.
