January, month of my sister’s birth
Time of year to sit by the hearth

February, time for people to show some love,
Everyone wanting Cupid to shoot them from above

March, cold days begin to fade away
And spring creeps in day by day

April, the time of revival and rebirth
Of our savior, Jesus, and Mother Earth

May, every kid wanting school to be out
“Summer is here” they scream and shout

June, the water is cool and the temp is hot
Time to hit the beach, that’s the spot



July, we watch as fireworks light the sky
As we celebrate the Fourth of July

August, school starts back up again
Bags loaded down with paper, pad, and pen

September, the final days in the pool
As they days start to cool
October, my favorite month of all
Kids dressed up and candy for all

November, the month of turkey and stuffin’
Pumpkin pie, potatoes, gravy, and a muffin

December, the long-drawn year draws to an end
Make new goals and resolutions, for a new year is about to begin
