You must always get an A
B for pricey books

C is for Culver
But only if you go here
D is for due dates

E for exciting
F for freshman just starting
G is for the Greeks

H for the houses
Where we spend most of our time
Independent I

J is for junk food
K is for keeping in touch
L is for learning

M is for money
Of course N is for napping
But we have neither

Orientation
An essential freshman O
P for professors

Q for quiet time
R for extensive reading
Which everyone hates

S is for sleeping
That we can’t get enough of
And T is for time

U to understand
V for veterinary
Medicine that is

We dread W
Waking up is never fun
For 8 o’clock class

X is for X-box
And Y of course is for you.
It’s all about you.

Finally it’s time
Z is for catching some zzz’s
After a long day.

It now seems so strange
These are my new A, B, C’s
Growing up’s not fun.
