The Long, Dark Road
As I walk down this road, long, dark and black. I felt something run across my back. It started to feel cold then, burned like the fires of hell. I turned around quickly to see what I had felt. Nothing would prepare me for what I was about to see. I saw a figure of a woman, who was staring back at me. I started to shout and scream, hoping it would go away. But, as it stared at me with those dark, hollow eyes, I knew its intentions were to stay. I turned and ran away, just as fast as I could, until it caught up with me, when I tripped on a piece of wood. So here I lie in the road, long, dark and black. I knew the spirit had me, and I was never coming back.
