Faster

Bouncing back and forth,
Violently bashing the walls,
Breaking, tearing, hitting, smashing, falling.
Trying to calm down.

Calming down isn’t the problem,
Staying calmed down is the problem,
Ripping me apart like a piece of paper,
Trying to stay sane.

Sane isn't an option; it left a long time ago.
Well, actually it was never there, it’s just been me.
Me, myself, and I, fighting each other, myself, my selves,
Crazier with every passing hour, minute, second.

Faster, Faster, Faster,
No stop, no slowing, just faster,
The faster, the more friction, the hotter,
Pulling up pieces of my mind, and burning them along with everything else.

Burning everything, my mind branded with its wicked imprint,
Hot, Hot, Hot,
But no pain, none at all it’s still just me,
It keeps growing faster and hotter.

The faster it gets the less I focus,
The less I focus the less I do,
The less I do the faster it gets,
It’s a never ending cycle of pain without the feeling.

Do you know what it’s like to hurt without feeling it?
No. No one does.
It’s actually kind of funny to think about, more ironic really,
With millions of thoughts flowing, Rushing, Blasting, through my mind,
I have no idea what to write about.
