He is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. He gives me the right tools for my future so that I never look back. Everyday I’m seeking to please him to the best of my ability mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. But when everything around me seems to get dark and evil thoughts start to cloud my mind, the same one that spoke to me steps in right on time. He reassures me that everything will be okay, he tells me… “My child there will be stumbling blocks along the way.” He says “Know this when there seems like there’s no way out, I’ll provide a way for you. Behold, there is a path you must take wide is the path but narrow is the gate, so don’t be like Eve and stop to talk to that snake, know that everyday your very soul is at stake.” Let me tell you a little about this sneaky enemy. He disguises HIV, and cancer as an endearing, trustworthy mate. He covers brain damage, sickness, and disease as living young, wild, and free. He covers a lifetime addiction with a friendly smile. He covers a generational curse with hateful thoughts and a worldly lifestyle. “But I come so that you may have life and have it more abundantly, all I need is for you to repent and give your life to me.” Listen my daughter, open your beautiful eyes and see if you never had a father in your life you can always come to me. Listen my daughter that has never felt loved even the black sheep has a special place in heaven above. Listen, my daughter that feels like she’s not pretty, you’re beautiful because I made you in the likeness of my image. Listen, my daughter that feels like she has so many burdens to bear, your day of rest is coming know that I care. Heaven exist but not all will see, only the chosen vessels unto me. Many are called but few are chosen, many knock but that doesn't mean the door will open. Live a clean and holy life that to me is the most beautiful sacrifice. Keep my holy word until the end, for you shall see heaven and be born again. My daughter this road isn't easy, I didn't design it to be. So you have two choices, choose wisely: walk the path of destruction and make my word a mockery or, pick up your cross and bear it with me.
