All the world's a garden
All the world’s a garden,
with every new year comes a beginning and end.
Different seasons bring different stages of life; a journey.
Spring is blooming and so are the blessings.
5. Seeds are planted; they develop and form over time.
This new sprouting is the sighting of life, the plant is born.
The air smells fresh of newness from the delicate life.
The plants grow and mature, as infants grow to adulthood.
They are exposed to the outside world, good and bad.
10. The bad destroys, and the good contributes to success.
If raised properly the plant will bear purposefully,
if not, it is of no use, like people to society.
The essence of pruning takes place,
hard changes, but ultimately for the better.
15. Summer is the midlife peak;
the plant is tall, healthy and at its best.
Life has its troubles but the plant is withstanding.
Fall comes and is withering; life is slowing.
Leaves begin to dry out as the colors change from green to brown.
20. Frailness.
Winter is cold like elderly bodies;
and life has left the garden.
There is sorrow, sadness, and emptiness.
But when spring returns, life does as well,
25.filling the air with joy and happiness,
and the cycle starts again.
