Just Me.
You tell me don’t let people change yourself,
You are the person you are.
Not to let people influence you.
I am showing you who I truly am.
But you simply tell me I am an adult,
To start acting my age,
There will always be a childish side in a person,
I am my own unique self where childish me is going to be.
When it is time to be a grown up,
I will.
But when it’s time for me to just be me,
I will.
Being me is simply just having fun,
Live with no regrets.
Please just please,
Don’t tell me this is just a phase,
I have always been like this and always will.
