Unknown Face
I stare into a piece of mounted glass
On a wall of gold and brass
I see a face, unknown to myself I see eyes struck
With sadness and despair
I look deeper to see what I need to see
But all I live is nothing or relevance…
This eye’s hold a secret truth…
They hold lies of ruthlessness… they flood like blood
As the river of the east… they live a life inside of me…
This face I see staring back at me…
Who is this broken soul? Who is this bundle of sorrow?
What happen to these eyes? Questions I ask and seek to see
A moment has gone
A life has been shared. I step out from this unreal reality.
This face I see becomes clear to me. This face…. Is me…
