As much as I try with all my heart
I knew these tears wouldn’t dry from the start
These feelings stay locked inside my soul
While sadness and hatred takes its toll
The battle that I thought was already over
Had just begun not knowing what to discover
You made me lose everything I once had
Although you should love me for the good and the bad
I wish I could go back when it was all okay
Instead crying at night trying to pray
Asking god for forgiveness and what I did wrong
Because I know you think of me as nothing strong
