I survived
I'm living
Barely breathing
Held together
Tape and glue
I guess
It'll do
Not enough repair
Take me to
The fix-it shop
Once a week
Maybe more
It need be
Just sew me shut
Jagged edges
Pound and surge
Raw skin
Nerves exposed
Emergency
Operation room
Stitch after stitch
Pulled together
Just like Sally
Body aching
Limbs detached
Never fully whole
How do I deal with that?
