This Moment
The moment I want to forget.
The pain that captures me like a net.
Your eyes that burn, that turn
into the beast that I hate.
The thing I can't take.
Your voice, so rough
I think I've had enough.
Of your lies and excuses
and the emotional abuses.
Your name that rings in my ears
the thing that my heart fears.
Your scent that suffocates
and teh sorrow it makes.
But I seemed to be obsessed its a thing I can't confess.
Your neglect attracts
the ferocity that I lack.
I wish to erase you
and start out new.
