You change things
Sometimes I'm appalled by the things you cause
I forgot that people had to be a certain way
I think there is something in the constitution you should read
Pursuit of happiness

I don't need to live by your standards
You don't control my thoughts
You can't dictate my actions
You rip up people's dreams
And for what
Because they don't follow your rules

Yet even though you do all of this
People will follow your rules
But not all
There are some who will fight against you
You might muffle their voices
But you will never silence them
