Fear!
Unaware, afraid, lost in fear
darkness is the blanket that covers me
Knowing the end is close and near.
I don’t like the sounds of droning
The night screamed in my face
Unaware, afraid, lost in fear.
It’s as massive as a house
This feeling, this emotion
Knowing the end is close and near.
The bright light dissipates
Leaving me confused, consumed, and clueless
Unaware, afraid, lost in fear.
I hope courage will knock at the door
Making my fears vanish, disappear
Knowing the end is close and near.
Will I ever find my place in the world
I cringe at the thought
Unaware, afraid, lost in fear
Knowing the end is close and near.
