The worldwide media today tells us what we want to hear,
Filling our weak hearts and naïve minds with relentless fear.

Can’t you see we are all hopelessly falling apart?
As if we need anymore of your sob stories to break our fragile hearts.

We can’t live our lives normally without unpredicted crimes,
But you think they are accidental occurrences, so they don’t serve their time.

The kids in our world are continually being brainwashed and never endure pain.
They endlessly covet wealth, fashion, and fame.

In our broken world, knowledge and common sense have sadly been destroyed.
Because of the irreparable damage the world has tremendously caused, we will never be able to fill that void.

There are few people who actually care about what is going on around them.
But they’re too busy with their worldly thoughts and trends.

Open your eyes! Can you see what is happening?
This world is slowly rotting from crust to core and weakening.

There is no resolution to these conflicts we have foolishly created.
We now must endure our regretful lives, tormented and hated.
