Soccer
Feeling adrenaline rush
As you run down the field.
Some people think the ball will turn your brain into mush.
Running at the other team with the ball causing people to yield.
Dribbling to the goal.
With one desire.
To kick the ball into the goal causing the goalie to expire.
if you make it, feel proud.
Scream loud!
Just jump into the crowd!
As your teammates cheer,
You lose your distress.
As the second half starts,
You lose your terror.
You hear your name in your ear
As you suddenly obtain the ball.
You think to yourself.
No fear!
As you run again
With your enemies near.
You get tense.
It feels like you sprint into a fence.
But you break that fence
And kick the ball.
That split second you wait.
As you stare at the ball.
Will it go in or will it fail?
As your ball closes in the other team yelps in shock.
You scream even louder than before!
As your teammates surround you for the second time,
You think to yourself,
Let's score more!
