I always keep my guard up
My biggest fear is to let it down and get my heart broken
I can’t trust guys
They all swear they’re different
But in reality they’re all seeking the same
I’ve let my guard down once
Huge mistake I’ve made
Yet, biggest lesson I’ve learned
Taught me how to be strong, taught me how to not trust
Only people you can ever trust is your family
And even sometimes not them
It’s hard to find somebody who understands you
Who understands your thoughts
At times you’ll feel like nobody will ever understand you
And at that time you’ll feel everything coming down on you
Only thing is that it’s just an obstacle in life
It’s challenging you to be strong
To not give up
Don’t show your weak
It will only affect you even more
Stand strong, head held high and just think your better than this
