Bittersweet Notes
Clouds starting off as pure whiteness
Fade to a disturbing gray in lumps across the sky
The sun dances and brings warmth
Yet water continually drip, drip
Drips in the distance
Security stops the ruckus of students
Questions are asked as a police car
Waits silently outside in the shade of the looming structure
"What are you doing?"
More questions are asked as those from higher up
Smile down upon us
Observing, watching, questions, blackness
Warmth
Darkness, light for a few moments warms the soul in small intervals
Until the darkness envelops you to chill you
To your very core
