Shadows cast from his cheek bones,
Accenting the length of his face,
and the slight purse of his lips causing
all women that slight tension in
their chest of a flustering heartbeat
and holds admirers attention.
The beauty in his eyes as
He gazes into the shutter,
And you realize he’s looking
at you.

Just as cheese and wine, he’s
Aged to perfection,
With black to brown, slight
grayness at his temples.
Perhaps it’s the silver
Growing into his beard,
Make him seem older,
Though we know he’s as fetching as ever.
His irises,
vibrant,
full of life, holding
admirers attention..

Time presses on and
Is a friend.
Crow’s feet occupy the skin
Nearest his eyes and the wrinkles
Dancing on his cheeks,
Of laugh lines and dimples,
Show age
and beauty.
The white has taken over his beard
But spared his hair.
For even time knows his beauty,
An older man, 66 infact,
He’s Hexxus and Frank N Furter,
Nigel Thornberry and Doctor Dolittle,
Gingerclown and Dodo.
Holding admirers attention
From 70’s kids and on.

This poem is inspired by a late night viewing of Rocky Horror Picture Show and my admiration of Tim Curry.
