Three Kids, One Me
One.
little Austin at home,
tiny as a peanut,
wearing his favorite super hero,
da-na-na-na batman,
he tackle his brother Payton,
once they both fall to the ground,
he says,
“Oh geeze!”
Two.
little Payton at home,
muscular as a bear,
wearing his favorite super hero,
spider man,
performs tricks on his bike,
more than a four year old normally could,
yells,
“Let’s go to the park!”
Three.
little bubbly Eleni,
cute as a butterfly,
wearing her favorite little glitter dress,
she dresses up the Barbies in their,
dresses just like hers,
once Andrea grabs a Barbie doll,
Eleni yells,
“Stop that’s mine!”
I am all of these kids.
We are all young at heart.
We like to bike and dress up Barbies.
We love watching Scooby Doo and finding out who the monster is.
We read the story before bed, we get tucked in.
We push limits of our parents.
Try to get as much as we can.
When we don’t get what we want, throw a tantrum.
We have our favorite stuffed animal that we have to sleep with every night.
We go to school and talk with our friends.
Going to the park is something we never grow out of doing.
Life of a kid, what do you expect?
