Nocturne
The rain falls sweetly down upon
 My ears.
It makes me feel as infinite
 As the crashing seas.
I look up and God’s tears
 Fill my eyes,
 Shrouding my view of haven
 With bittersweet raindrops.

 Ah, sweet.
The rain is meant for us.
 For those who love
The sun in all it's force
 Have never seen the rain
 In all it's glory.

So let this Nocturne play on,
 As the jealous Sun
 Watches Luna rejoice
 In the ethereal music
 He is blocked from.

 Let Nature perform
 With all it's glorious might
As we rest in the bosom
 Of the Night.
