The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.

There are teardrops of fire that cover my skin
Trailing their ashes that tell where I've been
That blow away in the darkest wind
I know now where I ought to begin

The troubles seemed so far away
But lately they've been here to stay
And nothing that I do or say
Will chase these demons far away

angels at dawning, hellhounds at dusk
Phantoms at midnight, and with no one to trust
I sit alone with my wanderlust
Gazing at the sky's stardust

These voices trapped within my head
Telling me, asking me, why aren't you dead?
And I hear my people shouting my name
And I know now; I cant play their game

I raise my head and lift my wings
And I tell my demons to find other things
To do with their time, because now I have mine
and I wont have to deal with their kind

Angels at dawning, hellhounds at dusk
Phantoms at midnight, all turned to dust
I now sit alone with my wanderlust
Gazing at the sky's stardust

Now all the demons will never return
And maybe, this time, they will finally learn
Angels and Hellhounds and Phantoms beware
Come and fight me, if you dare
