Dear Slave, do not trust the stars
Stars twirling a waltz before her eyes of ebony;
she makes a wish on each gleam credibly.
The trial of breadcrumbs led her into the path of adolescence;
she tells the stars her nonexistent journeys of omnipresence.
She feels tipsy and jaded after yet another transaction;
this is her life: battling, convulsing, healing and contraction.
From the moment she was born, she was cursed by fate;
to be eternally snared behind a sinister brothel gate.
Alas, she’s lost between the lines of mentality;
beseeching the stars for a sign of humanity.
