Little Sally is sitting on a play ground
but what she doesn’t know is that this swing is actually above a burial mound.
see. Little Sally is only 6 years old
she doesn’t know what the world has to behold.

Little Sally is unaware of the treasures out there
she can’t even begin to fathom the hidden mysteries of the world,
and you know what! its really quite unfair

Little Sally hasn’t been exposed to the horrors that linger in the air.
She doesn’t know of the hate, the destruction, the violence, the evil
she is just unaware

at her age there is extra effort to protect her mind,
the speak no evil, here no evil and see no evil
Little Sally lived in her own little world,
where there is no bad or good
the only things she sees is what she understood

Little Sally is oblivious of the world
and simplicity is the way of life
she just does what makes her happy
and at her age its coloring or playing with her daddy

Now fast forward ten years
Little Sally isn’t so little anymore
she is sixteen
and simplicity is not the way of life she stands for

her world is filled with evil lurking behind every corner
her day to day activities have changed from harmless fun and games
into games fueled by lascivious behavior
she isn’t so oblivious anymore

In nine months Sally will have a little baby of her own
the daddy couldn’t even be held accountable to a time loan
let alone a baby, an heir to his throne

Three years have flown by
and some of her so called Friends haven’t even said Hi
Sally went back to where it all began with a child holding her hand
Sally was back at the play ground
she couldn’t bear to hear the sound

The sound of innocence rang about
as the children’s play broke out
Smiles were ear to ear
and today marks the 10th year
since she was back here

Sally wishes she could go back to the simplicity of childhood
and vows to protect her child’s good
