The Next Chapter
On December 14th at 9:38
20 little children stand and wait
Looking around with eager eyes
Everything they saw was a new surprise
Smiling and laughing taking everything in
Forgetting the horror and death that had been
Hand and hand they approach the gate
Where they see God whom holds their fate
One of the children stumbles back in fear
God catches him and says, "Do not be afraid for I, your God, am here"
The child smiles and hugs God tight
Knowing they didn't have to fright
6 more shapes from the distance grow near
As they get closer the children jump and cheer
God chose these six angels to plant a seed
Which would blossom forever and always lead
These six brave leaders all eager to teach
Willing to sacrifice for every and each
The brave 26, the powerful force
The brave 26, who didn't know their course
On December 14, 26 angels proclaim, "This kingdom is ours!"
At 9:38 there were 26 new bright stars
