Why were you hiding when all you needed was right in front of you?
Were you scared?
What could I possibly have done to hurt you?
I miss you...
I wish you...
Would just show your face.
Thinkning of what could've been is driving me insane.
I'm addicted to you.
You're all I see.
In my dreams,
in my heart,
in every romantic book I read.
I turn the pages and whisper, " That could've been me."
Then I get angry.
Why couldn't that be our reality?
And now, you're gone.
Where, I don't know.
Yet, I ask: why?
Why did yo leave with such a sudden goodbye?
And did you ever think of changing of your mind?
Why did you leave?
Why did you hide?
What did I do?
Did I force your goodbye?
Turning pages in a book that brings memories of you and me...
"That could've been us." I say, " That couldve been our reality..."
