The Incredibly Icy Island
Raging waves greeted me with a breeze of shivering salty air, at Tybee Island.
Seagulls flying in repetitive circles, glared at me while trying to find a bite to eat.
Tall grasses danced side to side, as if drawing me close to it, to listen to a secret.

Cracks of small sunlight peaked through the calm grey sky.
They quickly diminished as if it were just a dream.
Soon, a cloak of grey enveloped the sky, as if it would conquer the world.

Laughter burst from my friends which illuminated the island with energy.
Seagulls, which were squawking with boredom, swiftly began to gull with joy in our presence.
The piercing wind howled against my ear in agony.

Did anyone else fall in into peace, on this island?
Would mom and dad feel relaxed here?
Would I ever get to return to this mystical island?

Let your mind drift away, all the stress and concern.
Let the peace and calmness saturate into your body at Tybee Island.
