First I am awoken by the incessant beep of an alarm clock
Then I force pants onto my legs, and then a sock
Only one sock, where is another?
It has no friend, no significant other.
I check under the bed, nope not there.
I check in the hamper, this is becoming unfair.
I check in my purse, and my brothers mail pouch.
And then in the chair and under the couch.
Well then, it isn't anywhere,
so I head to the fridge without a care.
I started looking for my morning snack
Then noticed something up in the back.
Could that be it? Is that my sock?
I think it is, this day is gonna rock!
So I head to the mud room which is painted blue,
and I look in my cubby. Where is my shoe??!
