Political Party Discussion
I have always had a problem with how the Political Parties of today worked. The arguments between the two main groups, Democrats and Republicans, seem to me that they are no longer based upon logical thinking. I feel that whatever one party says, the other party feels obliged to disagree no matter what. I have seen this numerous times in debates, speeches, and hearings. I do not think that people should be in a particular group, or that there should even be separate groups existing at all. If everyone just had their own sets of ideals, then the need for parties wouldn’t be needed. Instead of identifying, for example, candidates for presidency from the political party that they are in, why not identify them from the sets of ideals that they hold. I think this would solve the problem with bias people in America, although now it may be too late to change anything. It is in the nature of humans to form groups based upon similarities, but I think if we were able to set that aside and only think for themselves instead of following their group, we as a race, would be able to solve many problems in society.
