Children are forced into the Hunger Game
Everyone’s sick and tired and poor
Katniss can end it, the girl in flame

Out of the lot is picked Katniss’ name
Along with Peeta who was shaken to the core
Children are forced into the Hunger Game

To stay alive is her main aim
Each night she’s haunted by the gore
Katniss can end it, the girl in flame

She stood up the Capital and would take the blame
The life they both knew would be no more
Children are forced into the Hunger Game

Her mocking jay pin was a symbol of this dame
People felt courageous and that they could soar
Katniss can end it, the girl in flame

Despite everything next, the riches and the fame
Revolution had started. On the brink was war
Children are forced into the Hunger Game
Katniss can end it, the girl in flame
