Where is
The air is fragrant with the smell of bombs
with the smell of the war outside
Where is the eyes to see my tears?
Where is the ears to hear my cries?
I'm the one who knows,
I'm the one who remembers;
I bite my lip, and begin to cry
Where is the arms to hold me?
Where is the hand to pick me up?
I am the ashes of a hopeless fire
I am the shadow of the light
Where is the wind to refresh my flame?
Where is the heart to stop me from breaking?
Where is the flute to sing my sorrows?
I let the pain out with Poetry
So the whole world could see
I am a silent door sitting in the cell of my grief
