The Leader

We have a need in our nation,
A need for elevation.
We need people to stand up,
And less things to interrupt,
We need people to take charge
Of our country at large,
Someone we need not ask
Who’ll be glad to accept the task.
And where can we find
This leader we see in our mind?
Where is the leader who can cure
Our nation that is a blur?
Who might be the remedy?
Who ever said it can’t be me?
