The Lies and My Secret Wish
I listen to the lies.
If only life was as easy as everyone says
 It is.
If I could wish for anything...
 But I can't, so I don't try.
 I close
My eyes and count to ten.
 I start again,
 Breath and live.
Your picture hangs on my wall...
 You're just another lie.
 Still,
I wish upon every star and 11:11 and dandilion.
 Because,
Even as I write these words,
 And know it's all fake...
I want it to be real.
I want you to come alive...
 Again.
