What Dads are For
You called me outside, a million things where in my head, I could hear yall yelling before I went to bed.
The night before was the scariest thing ever, it was definatly a time I don't like to remember.
We lived on a lake, it was a beautiful view, Until I found out I was losing you. I didn't see you for a while, I missed your loving and caring smile.
You called me one day while mom was away and I couldn't believe it was true, that after four long mounths and waiting forever, I would finaly get to see you.
Mom found someone else, who could'nt even compare, but even though she doesn't, I know you will always care. So even though mom doesn't have your last name anymore, I know you are here for me bacause thats what dads are for.
