My old camera lay dusty, unused at the bottom of my bedroom closet. I used to enjoy using it when I was younger, but now it seems boring and out of date. I was thinking more and more about a new camera. My old camera was tired and worn out, and I wanted one of the new sleek, up-to-date cameras that are popular today. I searched far and wide until I found "the one".

Nobody could tear my camera away from me. My camera and I became inseparable. When my camera was with me everything seemed more fun. Using this camera, I captured moments that I would want to remember for the rest of my life. Good times turned into great times when we were together. My new camera came with a very sophisticated lens, one that focused in on exactly what I wanted to see. It was as if it shared my point of view. I would focus in on the scene then snap the shot, capturing every aspect of artistry within it.

I carefully developed these oh -so -cherished photographs. I went to my dark room, and carefully dipped each sheet into the chemical-filled pans, and hung each one up to dry. As the images appeared, a tear came to my eye. I bound them in an album which I share with others, reminiscing about all of the great and not so great times we had together. I will always hold my camera close to my heart.
