Shadows
I stand back in the dark. No one paying any attention to me behind him.
Can I take this anymore?
That is a question I face everyday.
I don’t know if I should stand up and finally say something to be noticed for once in my life.
Can I take the bullying from him as well as being his shadow?
Granted he is my brother but can I deal with it for the rest of my life?
The answer to all my questions is no, I need to do something for myself for once in my life.
No more miss nice girl.
I’m standing up for myself and what I think is right.
No more running.
Running is only hurting myself more.
I won’t listen to him or anyone else saying that he is better.
I know in my heart I’m better and now all I have to do is step out of the shadows.
