The Fall Season

Leaves are falling from the trees,
Animals prepare for the cold, especially the bees.
Many colors fill the air,
I can feel the cool breeze in my hair.
Fresh apple cider from the orchard,
It's like the apples are being tortured.
The cinnamon-sugar doughnuts bake,
they certainly do not smell fake.
Pumpkins growing bigger and bigger,
2,000 pounds is not what I figured.
Winter jackets being pulled out,
Sometimes the cold weather makes me want to shout.
I am ready for this season,
for it is very pleasin',
this is fall for a reason.
