I am who I am
Don’t change me if you don’t like me
Don’t try nor waste your time
Because I am who I am.

I am who I am for a reason
I am not a follower
I am a leader
I don’t dress nor act the same
That’s because I am who I am.

I may be emotional
I may be protective
I may be overweight
I may not be a ladies man
I maybe different
But accept me for who I am
And not for who you want me to be.

I am not athletic
I am not popular
I am not a straight A student
But my friends and family
Accept me for who I am.

I will go out of my way to help you out
I will be here when you need to talk
I will be there if you just want to hang out
Because this is who I am

I like who I am
Because of the man who brought me up
As the man who I am today
Without him I would not be
Who I am today.

I thank my dad for a lot of things
He has taught me to be me
Don’t settle for who you want me to be
He has taught me to be the best that I can be
So please accept me for me
As God has made me how he wants me to be.
