My Happy Place
My happy place is where,
Everyone can live in peace.
Where the fights and rivals
Are able to cease.
Where no need for guns or knife In hand
But, maybe a hug to bury the hatchet.
Where kids can go and play outside
With their childhood friends,
Who’s never far behind?
Where a little girl with a dream
Can share with the community
Express her talent in many ways,
While the crowd claps and cheers for her
Where the beach is close by.
And we all drive by
With smiles on our face.
This is what I think of when I think of my happy place.
