The One Sided way of Love
I had fallen for him and it was a sin
Not accepted by any of my kin.
They all told me “do not”.
I went ahead, thinking I wouldn’t get caught.
I had turned into my evil twin.

There wasn’t any way to win.
Like a never-ending game of gin.
 I just wanted my shot
I had fallen for him and it was a sin.

My heart got thrown into the trash bin.
As the tears rolled down my cheek I no longer had a grin.
This was a lesson I was taught
He said he loved me, he did not.
I said I didn’t care, but my love for him was still within.
I had fallen for him and it was a sin.
