Lost Tears

I lost my tears
Trapped behind cold eyes
Never felt pity,
sad,
doubt
My tears will never stream
For I will never sob
Prisoners behind bars of eyelashes
Whenever they ask to be free
I will fight back
Crying is for the weak
Or so I believe
Therefore my tears are lost
Rattling in their cages
So another loved one may die
And my eyes will remain dry
I lost my tears
