Writing is the best way to talk without being interrupted.

It was a cold winters night
When I saw a man die,
He feel from a height
And I don’t know why,

He lay in the snow
He lay still an did not move ,
Why he jump ?
Was there something to prove?

I knelt down
I cradled him upon my arm,
Who could of done this
And cause such harm,

There seemed not point in calling for help
I can see there a soon coming end,
There is not much that can be done
In the next few moments there will no life to tend,

I closed his eyes
And got to my feet ,
I did not want to but
I walked away leaving a man dead on the street,

I heard some one coming
So I started to run and I didn’t look back,
I heard a scream
So I slipped down an old London crack .

The next day is was in the paper
The police are looking for the girl with the key ,
The girl who witnessed the crime,
I didn’t say , but that girl is me .
