Öf all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

These were the last words she wrote:
“Tonight, between slit wrists and screams, I will drown in my own heavy tears,
So I write my suicide note.”

These are her own troubled thoughts I never heard, but that I now from memory quote,
For at night I hear them again and again: her own stained memories, sorrows and fears.
These were the last words she wrote:

“Despite all my constant pleas to friends and to God my many mailed prayers,
No one knew how to ease my pain, that consumed my insides and twisted my soul, causing me the depression that, through my eyes, I daily denote.
So I write my suicide note.”

As I read, my own voice unsettles my soul and wakes up my skin and agonizes my ears,
My thoughts crash with the sides of my head( again and again), my mind screams silent screams and my sorrow builds up in my throat.
These were the last words she wrote:

“All the apathy from my family and hate from my peers
Prevent my soul like a boat to stay safely afloat.
So I write my suicide note.”

I lose my composure and scream out her name, though I know she won’t come, for my daughter’s been gone for over 2 years.
Deep, deep she made it sink – her soul like a boat.
That was the last thing she wrote.
And now this is MY suicide note.
