2011 is gone,
A new year has begun.

2012 is here,
A whole new year for fun.

This year cannot be the same,
As the wonderful year before.

New dreams for the future have been born,
Vast resolutions are the core.

366 new days before you,
Though a mere 52 weeks it may seem.

Wonderful days will be there,
Though also terrible days you will deem.

Mistakes will be made,
I assure you with pain.

But they can be forgiven,
Jesus will take the blame.

Happiness lies before you,
Embrace it and rejoice.

Run from deception,
Choose to make the right choice.

One more year you will earn,
Some respect you may gain.

Now it is your turn,
Release from your chain.

Your family will grow,
Your relations will too.

Your love for one another,
Great things you can do.

Hold fast to the Lord,
Turn to him in hard times.

You'll last this year through,
'Til the next New Year bell chimes.
