Life is like a circus
Like a zoo
It looks all happy
Until you see it staring at you
You see the animals
Trapped in cages
Full of hurt
You see the masquerade
Plastic faces, fake games
You see the liars
The sinners
The hurt
And you realize life plays you like a
Puppet
It pulls the strings.
You finally see the truth
We are not in control
Never will be
We are forced to hide
In a little shell
Where we wear a mask
To suit our task
Life is like a circus
A whole fiasco of things
Thongs gone wrong
Things gone right
Things that make us have no hope.
