It navigates through your veins
Effectively destroying you from the inside out

Your breathing, unstable, yet so sure
The world is made to seem evil while a fire is burning hot within you
Encapsulating the person you once were
There may be no trace of the person you’ve left in your dust
But, you never forget who you’re after

When, finally you reach who you are after and make them a victim
It is that much harder to refuse the intricate plot that has evolved within the caverns of your mind
Your fury reaches its highest peak
Your blood boils through your heated veins
Your breathing is no longer that of a human being
When all is said and done
Your blood cools, and the red haze will retreat
Your breathing will quicken
You will regret every moment
Every step
Every action
Every thought
Every word
And every choice that brought you to this place
You will blame yourself
Living with the guilt of what should not have been
Struggling with the knowledge of what could have
Continuously searching for something good to sprout from the sea of deception and lies into which you’ve been thrown
