Change
On an autumn evening
I gazed up
At the treetops
To think about change-
An everyday occurrence.
Close to my hand,
I saw a beautiful leaf.
It beamed a raspberry red and golden yellow
And curled its edges away from the earth.
How ideal was its image,
How grand was its change.
Let us wish
It will always continue,
The world going on
In its natural ways
To preserve transformation
