I see you standing there
But you don’t see me
Not sure why I care
Could you be my key?
Never talked to you
Do you know my name?
My friends ask me who
Why was it I came?
When at a glance you smile
How long did it last?
Did I just run a mile?
My hearts beating so fast
Then we finally talk
It was the best day ever
Around the room we walk
How are you so clever?
You’re just too sweet,
As we start to grow close,
This amazing feat
Tickles me to my toes
So look at us now
Waiting for the right time
I just don’t know how
But someday you’ll be my prime
