Sceptic
Clocks old and new
Cant tell the sun when to set
Subside into the below
Arise the moon to glow
From the depths a flower will grow
Sceptic wont you come outside
The water in your well has run dry
Fallacy thoughts fool the mind
The crow stays as the sparrows fly
Clipped wings, look up, nothing new, grey sky
No hope for the eyes that cry, dont cry
Pianos worn out and out of tune
Cant hold a note aimed for the ear
Words are spoken but the deff can not hear
Fish stream up against the current
As a rock you can not swim
A wine toast to the melodies,
Your three quarters drunk on the gin
Sceptic wont you come outside
The water in your well has run dry
Fallacy thoughts fool the mind
The crow stays as the sparrows fly
Clipped wings, look up, nothing new, grey sky
No hope for the eyes that cry, dont cry
