Favorite Quote:
"Loving a band with all your heart is something you only understand when it happens to you. On the surface, others can see it as a petty obsession, but they'll just never know the feeling of putting so much faith into a few people on the other side of the world. It's hard to explain it to the, the listening to song after song on repeat, the waits for new albums, the excitement and surreal sensation when you finally see them live. They don't seem to understand why the lyrics booklets give you a sense of comfort, or why you paste photos of them all over you bedroom walls. And they can't understand why one band could matter to you so much. And you think to yourself 'Because they saved my life. But you say nothing, they wouldn't understand." - Alex Gaskarth

This is the love I lead
It's not a choice, it's not a crime
But a thousand protests later I still
Feel like I'm serving time

This ignorance is pure bliss for you
But you're making these walls close in
You can't lock me in that closet
The roof already caved in

Shout your bigot melody
Composed of bull-headed faith
The wool over your eyes is still
Trying to seal my fate

I wave this flag over my head
Six colors flying high
Regret's not in my vocabulary
The world might just stop passing me by

Keep me in your thoughts and prayers
Or spit at me and scowl
Opinions are opinions but
I can't throw in the towel

But shame hangs just over my head
As I remember how evil we are
We've walked ten thousand miles
But we still haven't walked too far

This battle is ongoing, though
I hope it may end one day
I'm having trouble thinking of
The words that would convey

The pain of true abandoment
The depression and the hate
The insults and disgusted glares
From the friends of yesterday

Hell is for the wicked and
The heartless and the cold
It's not for people who fell in love
Who don't happen to fit your mold

We march in time to the drums of life
Hands and heads held high
A call to freedom, hear it ring
The world's gonna stop passing us by
